Christmas continues to be celebrated at Frontier Homestead State Park Museum. The Homestead Holiday Market is taking place Friday and Saturday December 7-8, 2018. Come celebrate the sights, sounds, smells and atmosphere of a frontier Christmas marketplace.
Thirty artists and crafters have been invited to create an old-fashioned shopping experience for visitors. The artists were selected to bring the very best craftsmanship and a wide variety of fine art and crafts to the event.
Live entertainment on Saturday will feature the Washburn Family Band, the Brass Duet, Mountain Top Sound, the Griffin Family, and the Southern Utah String Quartet. Not only will patrons be treated to live holiday music, Santa will be on hand between 9:30 am – 2:00 pm in the historic Wood Cabin to visit with youngsters. And be sure to grab a cup of hot chocolate as you stroll through the Market.
This is a perfect opportunity to find that one-of-a-kind holiday gift for that special someone. From whimsical jewelry, to exquisite photography, stone and wood work, you will find it at the Homestead Christmas Market.
Please be sure to drop by any time Friday, December 7 between 11:00 am and 8:00 pm, or Saturday, December 8 between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. Not only will you be supporting cottage industry and small business, but a portion of the proceeds go back to the Museum Foundation to support community events.
